Big Books have
Modern linen bindings and coloured dust jackets, they measure
2.9cm in height and are approx 12th scale of an A4 size book.
The title is printed on the front and the spine of the dust jacket.
Classic books come in the same sizes as the modern books (see above) but are bound with covers designed to look like period leather bindings of the Victoran era and earlier. These books have the title and author printed across the spine. All our titles which were originally published before 1900 are available in both modern and classic styles.
De Luxe, Forever Young, Great Artists and Annuals are only available in one size and style as they are 12th scale reproductions of their original books or are designed as large sized "coffee table" picture books. They are all printed with full colour illustrations as described. in the listing and are bound with covers similar to their originals. In some cases, where the book has been scaled down directly from the original pages, the text might not be as clear as those we have type set ourselves for obvious reasons.
