Modern Classics

Copyright law in the UK and Europe extends for a period of 70 years from the time of the death of the author. Until now this has prevented legal miniature books being produced from many of the most popular books from the 20th century. In order to offer the widest range of titles we have negotiated with the copyright holders of a selection of these works and have been able to purchase licences to reproduce these books in miniature.

We can currently offer miniature versions of classic 20th century novels by Ian Fleming, Agatha Christie and Daphne DeMaurier with more to follow.

Each book contains the first chapter of the original book and is hand bound in black linen with a coloured dust jacket. In the case of Ian Fleming we are very pleased that Michael Gillett personally gave his permission to use his artwork from the 2008 Penguin editions. For the Agatha Christie editions we have to thank Harper Collins for permission to use the original cover designs from the first editions.
