Dateman Books are a small family book binding company based on the North Somerset coast. They are devoted to producing hand bound books at prices that won`t frighten you and in quantities to suit your needs. We welcome orders for the binding of single copies. All our work is carried out, by hand, in our own bindery using traditional methods and materials.

We have now moved into the delightful world of miniatures and have transferred our standards into this new field. All our books are fully readable, complete and unabridged and are individually hand bound using the same methods as we use on our full size
books.

We now produce most of our books in two sizes. our original size of 2.9cm high and a new smaller size of just 2cm high, perfect to fit into 1/12 scale bookcases, same detail same high standards just smaller.

We produce children's books, classic titles, and non-fiction works and are always looking for ideas for new titles. We actively welcome our customers to make suggestions for future publications.

We also produce other miniature works such as wedding albums (printed with photographs or left blank), Victorian photograph albums, Christmas cards, birthday cards, calendars, and diaries. Once again we welcome suggestions for new items.

By popular demand we have re-bound all our books first published during the reign of Queen Victoria or before and can now offer them either in a modern binding (as we have always done) or in a contempory binding to suit period dollhouses. The new bindings can be found under the heading CLASSIC.
